Doubt's as a self published author

 So I'm sat writing my 3rd book, and I just realise how hard all this can be. It's very lonely writing, don't get me wrong, I'm submerged into this world I have created but you realise all the work is your own, it's many hours in front of the laptop trying to share a story that you want to share. You don't know how many people will want to read it, how many people will critique it, complain about it. love it?

Sometimes blood sweat and tears can go into the book for only a few people to read it. I know they are out in the world forever but that doesn't stop it from being such a scary thing to do. I haven't done much promotion like paying for ads or anything because that scares me shitless. 

I want to finish my trilogy then focus on advertising it.
